Original Description

Delias singhapura Wallace, 1867

Type specimen(s)

Additional information: "Wallace stated that his male holotype came from Singapore, and it has been suggested that htis is an error that it was really captured on Mount Ophir. However, D. singhapura has recently been reported from a low elevation near Ipoh, so that its occurence in the past in Singapore cannot be ruled out." (Eliot, 1978: 94).
